Make the first step feel possible.
Plant-based cooking can feel like a world of unfamiliar ingredients, complicated substitutions, and rules to get right. Veginner Cooking began with a more welcoming idea: help people enjoy learning, wherever they are starting.
Cheryl shaped the brand around the beginner, with a name that makes the audience part of the identity. The tone is encouraging, the food is familiar, and the invitation is to try something delicious. Compassion becomes a practical choice people can make in their own kitchen.
That positioning gives the brand a clear creative filter. A recipe, a cooking demonstration, a guide, or a partnership should make plant-based living easier to understand and more inviting to explore.
A point of view, carried through the experience.
The brand brings its purpose into everyday moments: breakfast, a favorite comfort food, a grocery decision, or a question about replacing eggs. Bright food imagery and Cheryl’s on-camera presence make the education personal and approachable.
The website gives that personality a place to live beyond a social feed. Recipes sit alongside educational resources, downloadable guides, challenges, community connections, and cooking-class invitations. An original Veginner Cooking theme song adds another recognizable expression of the brand.

Useful content, with more than one way in.
A short video can spark curiosity. A full recipe helps someone act on it. A substitution guide answers the next question. A live class gives them a chance to learn alongside someone else. Together, these formats create a deeper experience than any single post can offer.
By October 2026, the content library included 138 published recipe and educational articles, with founder-led and contributor content. The library spans everyday meals, ingredient swaps, seasonal ideas, and practical guides, giving the brand a broad base of useful material to share.

Keep the connection
Social channels, email invitations, and community links offer ways to continue beyond the first visit.

Build discovery around something worth sharing.
Pinterest became a significant part of Veginner Cooking’s growth story. Visual recipes and practical educational content gave people ideas to discover, save, and explore beyond the feed.
Cheryl was selected for the Pinterest Managed Creator program and hosted a dedicated weekly Pinterest TV live series. At its historical peak, the brand recorded more than 40 million monthly Pinterest impressions and more than 1 million monthly engaged users, alongside a community of more than 200,000 across the brand’s channels.
These are different measures of visibility and participation. They demonstrate the scale the brand has reached, while the website, resources, and programming show the experience available once someone discovers it.
Historical results reported in Cheryl Martinez’s founder résumé. The 200,000+ community milestone also appears in the January 2025 Species Unite episode description. These are prior milestones, not current monthly analytics; impressions are not unique people, and a cross-channel community is not a deduplicated audience.
Give products a place in a real story.
Veginner Cooking’s partnerships show how a brand can become part of useful content. The product has a role in the recipe, the demonstration, and the audience’s next meal.
The work includes an Earth Day tofu recipe with Nasoya, a plant-based salmon discovery and cooking story with Oshi, and a grilled cheese and pear sandwich featuring Silver Hills Bakery. The creative connects product discovery with a specific, approachable way to try it.
Across more than 40 brand partnerships, Cheryl has connected creative ideas with the experience of introducing products to a real community. The strongest work gives the audience something useful to take away, with the product naturally woven into the story.

Partnership count is a historical founder-reported milestone. Featured examples can be explored in the original collaboration collection.
Let the founder’s perspective travel further.
Cheryl’s story gives the brand a human point of connection. Her enthusiasm for animal welfare, compassionate living, and accessible cooking carries into the way she teaches, creates, and collaborates.
Guest appearances on Species Unite and Vedge Your Best brought that perspective into longer conversations about Veginner Cooking, getting started, and building a more approachable relationship with plant-based living. They offer a fuller view of the person and purpose behind the content.

One brand. Many ways to feel connected.
Veginner Cooking brings together education, entertainment, and community around a consistent idea: more people can take part when the experience feels welcoming.
Its original theme song extends that idea into sound. The recipe library gives it substance. Social content introduces it to new people. Classes and conversations make it personal. Partnerships connect it with products the audience can explore.
The value is in how these pieces reinforce the same identity. Each format has its own job, with the audience’s confidence and curiosity at the center.
Experience from building the whole brand.
Building an owned venture means living with the decisions beyond the launch: what the brand stands for, what the audience needs, how content is produced, and how the experience stays connected as it grows.
That founder’s perspective informs the work Tools for Talent brings to other brands. We connect strategy with creative production, useful content, and a clear understanding of the people on the other side of the screen.
For mission-driven organizations and consumer brands alike, the opportunity is to turn a meaningful idea into an experience people can understand, enjoy, and choose to return to.
